When you engage in therapy, your therapist will assist you in developing goals. Some goals can be obvious like better managing your mood, coping with stress, or improving your relationships, while other goals may be less obvious and those that you didn't realize you could achieve in therapy. Goals like gaining confidence to apply for that dream job, learning new social skills, developing and strengthening areas in your life that move you toward wellness. Although your therapist can guide you through this process, your goals will be client -centered and based on your values and wishes.
