As an emotionally focused therapist, we will work together to build a therapeutic alliance where you will learn to navigate your emotions by delving deeper and discovering attachment styles. By focusing on underlying emotional patterns, we will foster deeper connections and healing. Through empathy and understanding, we will work towards greater emotional awareness and healthier communication.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, and am passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health and reach their goals! I am native to Southeastern NC, and have loved raising both my son and daughter alongside my husband in this beautiful place we’re lucky to call home. I love being a member of this community, where we can enjoy the beach, fishing, and all the outdoor activities nearly year round.
I have extensive prior experiences working in school settings in various roles, where I helped many individuals with anxiety, depression, and crisis intervention. It was while working with teens that I discovered my true passion for mental health and transitioned to private practice where I could work more specifically to help individuals meet their mental health goals.
