Let’s build trust, take our time, explore deep emotions and share the underlying fears and needs we all have. Together we can re-create supportive bonds and transform emotional distress into meaningful connections.
As an Emotionally Focused Therapist, I help individuals learn to emotionally attune to themselves and others and to repair disconnection. Together we will walk through the goal-oriented steps and stages of EFT.
EFT is a scientifically researched and highly effective method of counseling that provides individuals with an understanding of the cycles that lead to disconnection. Through listening, validation, and empathy, individuals learn to heal attachment wounds, and restore emotional connection with themselves and others.
With my friends and family, I am known as the deep feeler and when you are going through tough times, I’m the one who will join you in your pain. We will cry it out together! My greatest joy is spending time with my family, we are a blended family with five children.
I love all things about the ocean, the feeling of being out in the sea and any chance I can get to interact with sea life. Prior to becoming a counselor, I was a dolphin trainer and researcher. These days my passion is playing with stingrays in the Caribbean! Oh, and I also love to go to antique flea markets and search for vintage and reclaimed furniture and decor.
