When not in session, life is full of motion,
laughter, and a little chaos. With a husband,
two children and two beloved guinea pigs,
the days are layered with noise, tenderness,
and the unpredictability of family life.
As a proud golf mom, weekends often mean
cheering from the cart path and celebrating
small wins. Art therapy is more than a
modality — it’s a personal joy, especially when
colored pencils and markers are involved.
Helping people has always come naturally —
whether it was training coworkers in her
former career to be a steady voice for
friends and family. After two
decades in the insurance industry, shifting
into social work felt like a purpose she
had been seeking. Becoming a therapist
meant leaning into what she does best —
listening deeply, noticing what’s underneath,
and helping people reconnect with
themselves. Her goal is to help kids, teens,
and adults uncover their inner strength, feel
truly seen and supported, and move toward
growth with confidence and resilience.
Erin Moorehead, MSW, LCSWA works at Reclaim Counseling and Wellness’s
Burlington location. Offering in-person and virtually across North Carolina. A lifelong learner, She holds a BS in Business Administration with a Communication minor from UNC Greensboro, a Master of Science in Jurisprudence from Seton Hall School of Law, and an MSW from Liberty University. Her diverse professional background gives her a deep understanding of people and systems, enriching her work as a mental health therapist. Erin's clinical interests include supporting youth, teens, and adults through art, play, and talk therapy, approaching emotional complexity with warmth, creativity, and curiosity.
