Haley tailors treatment interventions to each individual and their specific needs. Interventions she utilizes in sessions can include CBT, mindfulness meditation/guided imagery, DBT-informed skills training, strengths-based exercises, and solution-focused techniques. Haley places emphasis on empathy and nonjudgement in order to create a safe space for individuals to share their stories and difficulties in order to work towards creating positive change for themselves.
I am originally from New Jersey, but have lived most of my life now in North Carolina in both the greater Charlotte area and in Greensboro, which is where I live currently. I have also lived abroad twice; I studied abroad for a semester in England during college and later lived in Australia for almost a year as part of a service program in-between undergrad and graduate school!
Outside of my counseling work I am definitely a nerd at heart, I play Dungeons and Dragons as well as lots of board games and am constantly learning how to play new games! I also love to read, try out new recipes, binge-watch competitive reality TV, and spend time with my husband.
