While working through difficult issues or past traumas can be uncomfortable, you can find peace, joy, freedom, and purpose in your journey toward healing. As a therapist, LaKeisha values creating a supportive and safe space where others can feel free to express themselves without judgment. And she is committed to being empathetic, a good listener, and trustworthy while helping clients to achieve their goals. She enjoys working with those who are ready to heal and grow.
For those that know me, know that I am a textbook introvert. However, I tend to find humor in any situation, and I love to laugh (funny memes, gifs, and TikToks are a few of my love languages)! Life can be serious at times, which is all the more reason to find something to smile and laugh about, despite the circumstances you may face.
When I’m not in session, you can find me doing “introvert things”: playing video games on my Xbox, listening to music and my favorite podcasts, watching football and basketball (Go Tar Heels!), traveling, taking walks in nature, reading, and binge-watching shows on Netflix.
