Counseling should be a welcoming place that fosters growth in becoming the best version of yourself. This should be a time where you feel safe, comfortable, and heard. There is no perfect modality to fit a person's needs, so I will work with you to find techniques from different modalities that fit your needs and values.
Being a military wife and mom I have had to face deployments, being alone navigating new life phases, new relationships, and new cities. Learning how to face life challenges has shown me how to make my own lemonade. This is one of the main reasons I became a therapist, to help others understand their life story, cope with life altering circumstances, and make it have the best possible outcome.
My friends would say I am that one friend they can call at any time. Being this person for them is why I do what I do, to help others become the best versions of themselves.
